Mr. Alex James Swafford, Jr., age 91, of Conyers, passed away on May 31, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Mittie; children, Judy Williams (Phil) of Conyers, Robert D. Swafford (Valerie) of McDonough; grandchildren, Susan Bailey (Bill), Angelyn Wilson (Jim), Dr. David Swafford (Susan), Julie Lee (Robert), Laura Swafford and 9 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Pastor Robert D. Swafford will officiate.
