Alice Webber O'Brien, 91, of Jonesboro, GA, went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2018. Born on February 21, 1927 in Carterville, IL to the late John and Kathleen Webber, Mrs. O'Brien is also predeceased by her husband of 57 years, William O'Brien. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Bill Burchill, of Peachtree City; brothers and sisters-in-law Nita O'Brien and James and Margaret O'Brien, of Birmingham, AL, and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. O'Brien was a member of First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, where she sang in the choir and taught a woman's Sunday School Class for over 30 years. On her 90th birthday, she was honored by the church with the renaming of her class as the Alice O'Brien Ladies' Class. For more than 25 years, she also volunteered with the South Fulton Hospital Auxiliary and Meals on Wheels.  A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at First Baptist Church Jonesboro Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.  Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, GA.
