Allen Michael Montroy, age 69, of Jonesboro, passed away on March 26, 2025. He dedicated his career to education, serving as a teacher with the Clayton County and Henry County Boards of Education.

Allen is lovingly remembered by his sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie J. (Gary J.) Hirsch of McDonough; his nieces and nephew, Robert Michael Hargis, Courtney (Scott) Dreyfus, and Ashley (Jack) Hurdle; and his great-nephew, Grayson Dreyfus.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home, officiated by Senior Deacon Peter Swan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park.
