Mrs. Amanda "Lucile" Smith, age 93, of Jonesboro passed away August 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wilson Smith. She is survived by sons, Gerald E. "Jerry" Smith and wife Barbara of Williamson, Samuel A. "Sammy" Smith and wife Ann of Brooks, daughter, Linda S. Barrrett and husband John of Jonesboro, grandchildren, Stacy Amanda Rieke and husband Carl, Lisa Ann Lane and husband, Patrick, Matthew Wilson Smith and wife Melissa, and Lee Richard Moss and wife Camilla, great-grandchildren, Carly Cox, David Rieke, Eleanor Moss, Carson Moss and Anna Smith. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013, 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Marti Slife and Dr. Rick Long will officiate. Interment Jonesboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
