He is survived by his wife: Pati;children: Melissa Anne McConnell of Newnan, Matthew Amiel McConnell of Clearwater Beach, FL, Melanie Aja McConnell of Chattanooga, TN, and Marcus Franklin McConnell of Dallas, GA; bother: Hubert Franklin McConnell of Jonesboro; sister: Helen Camp (Harry) of White, GA; 4 grandchildren: Gracie Moon Ganyon, Summer Rain Ganyon, Marcus Franklin McConnell, Jr., and Michael Amiel McConnell. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at GraceLife Church, 1083 Allgood Road N.E. Marietta, GA 30062. Burial will follow at 1PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
