Mrs. Barbara "Bunny" Freeman Watson, age 84, went to her heavenly home Sunday, May 17, 2020.  Bunny graduated from College Park High School and began a career at Delta Air Lines.  She met and married Henry Grady Watson, Jr. and the couple resided in Jonesboro.  Bunny was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro for 61 years; she loved her Savior and served Him faithfully through many different roles in and out of the church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and both siblings, Ann Roberts and Charles "Buddy" Freeman.  Mrs. Watson is survived by her daughter, Laura Lee Watson (Norman) Neeley of Fayetteville and grandson, Nathan Douglas Neeley of Newnan.  She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.  Bunny was a caregiver for her mother and a friend's mother for several years of her life.  Her favorite role was being a homemaker and she did that well.  Her family honors her as a Proverbs 31 woman. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Flowers accepted or donations may be made to First Baptist Church Jonesboro P.O.
