Barry Robert Wearne, Ret. MSGT USAF, passed away on April 27, 2026. He served in the USAF for 20 years. He was born on October 6, 1946 to the late William C. Wearne, Jr., and Geraldine Boisvert Wearne in New Britian, CT. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Betty Porter Wearne and a brother; Bruce Bernard Wearne. He is survived by his sister; Pat Barnes of FL; sister-in-law; Laura Wearne of CT, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and longtime friends and caretakers; Michael and Rachelle Brown. The family will receive friends on Monday, May4, 2026 from 1-3 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, GA 31061 with Military Honors.
