Mr. Benjamin "Benny" Meredith age 83, of Stockbridge passed away Friday, May 20, 2016. Mr. Meredith was a US Navy veteran and a mason. He is survived by children: Pamela Meredith Wheeler (Michael) of Stockbridge, Benjamin Thomas Meredith, Jr. of Carrollton, and James Meredith of Carrollton; siblings: Louie H. Meredith, Jr. (Thelma Wylene) of Interlachen, FL, Betty Jean West of Jacksonville, FL, Robert Meredith (Bonnie) of Snellville, and Penny Cooper (Carl) of Jacksonville, FL; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday May 23, 2016 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro with Rev. Larry Phillips officiating. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Reynolds, GA.
