Mrs. Bessie N. Reeves, age 87 of Stockbridge passed away October 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dawes H. Reeves and parents: Richard E. and Lois C. Neely. Surviving are her daughters: Georgia Lynne Storey and husband Kerry of Williamson, Gail Mullins and husband Edmond "Moon" of Griffin and Amy Ross and husband Robert "Pete" of Jonesboro, brother: Richard Charles Neely and wife Kathy of Jackson, sister: Freida Hammond of Locust Grove, grandchildren: Jeremy Raven, John Burel, Dusty Ross, Ashleigh Thomas and Robert Ross, great-grandchildren: Ava, Molly, Alan, Taylor, Molli, Elleigh, Hardy, Cassie, Jared, Abi and Harley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Irvin Pearre and Rev. Hinton Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the funeral home.
