Mrs. Betsy Rose Schilling, age 92 of Decatur, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away January 18, 2022. Mrs. Schilling was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her husband: John T. Schilling and parents: Louis and Rose Klaas. She is survived by her children: John Schilling of  Atlanta, Timothy (Michelle) Schilling of France, Rose (Lew) Motter  Schilling of NC, Mary Ann (Jim) McSweeney of Decatur, Michael (Mary) Schilling of TN, and Kathleen (Tommy) Gaddis of Donalsonville, 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Betsy shared her love of southern cooking, dancing, gardening and socializing with family and friends, too numerous to mention. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with Father John Koziol, OFM Conv. officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the funeral home.
