Mrs. Betty Cannon Adamson, age 87, of McDonough, passed away on September 18, 2017. She retired from The State of Georgia Department of Education. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth "Kenny" Adamson and her sister, Barbara Cannon Yancey. Mrs. Adamson is survived by her husband, Randolph Adamson; daughter, Malinda Sutton of McDonough and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesboro.
