Mrs. Betty Sue Coker-Downing, age 89 of Riverdale passed away August 21, 2018. Mrs. Downing was a member of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Forest Park, and was preceded in death by her husband: Roland Otis Downing, Sr. She is survived by her sons: Roland Otis Downing, Jr. and wife Jeannie of Virginia Beach, VA., Scott Burgess Downing and wife Tanya of Wheaton, IL., Jeffery Stuart Downing and wife Ellen of Winston, GA and Gregory Quinton Downing of Riverdale, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Jack Westlund officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 351 Morrow Rd., Forest Park, GA 30297, in memory of Mrs. Downing.
