Betty (Mary Elizabeth) Gibout, age 87, passed away on September 20, 2025. Preceding her in death are Gladys LaLonde Gibout (Mother), George Gibout (Father), Irene Marsicek Gibout (Stepmother) and two brothers, Frederick Gibout (Joyce) and Leon Gibout. Left on earth to pray for her soul are Rose Homa, Sister Jeanne Marie Gibout, Order of Saint Clare and Constance Gibout (Mark), her sisters, Ralph Gibout (Nancy) and Bruce Gibout (Sharon), her brothers. Also surviving is her beloved companion, Patty Shannon and her "bonus family", Chris Langlois (Melissa), Tiffani Thornton (Jason), Amber Thornton (Graham), Savanna Thornton, Gage Langlois (Autumn) and Cassidy Martinez (Alonso). A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro, Georgia at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Interment will be at Honey Creek Woodlands in Conyers, Georgia.
