Mrs. Betty Ruth Harvey Evans, age 81, of Forest Park, passed away on February 11, 2017. She is survived by her children, Belinda Mayo of Ellijay, Donald "Doc" Evans of Jonesboro, Steve Evans of Forest Park, Darryl Evans of Jonesboro, Derrick Evans of Jonesboro; brother, George Thomas Harvey of Blairsville; grandchildren, Jessica Evans, Shannon Morrison, Kevin Mayo, Scott Mayo, Tyler Mayo, Kelsey and numerous great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Jonesboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:30 the day of the service at the funeral home.
