Mrs. Betty Ann Lathem, age 83, of Newnan, passed away, October 8, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. Mrs. Lathem retired from Bank of America. She is survived by her husband; Olin, son; Kevin Lathem of CA; nieces and nephews; Lisa (Ken) Crook, Mike (Jill) Sorrells, Mark (Tammi) Sorrells, Lori (Bill) Bourn, Eddie Sorrells, and other extended family members. Funeral services will be held, Friday, October 12, 2012, at 11 AM in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 3-6 PM at the funeral home.
