Mrs. Beulah T. Codrington age 84 of Jonesboro passed away December 22, 2016. Mrs. Codrington was a member of Rehoboth Church of God in Christ where she served as mother of the church. She is preceded in death by children: Joseph Best, Jamsey Codrington, and Wilfred Codrington Jr.; and 2 great grandchildren: Nalah Codrington and Jamsey Codrington III. She is survived by children: Roberta Owens (James Epps) of Cobb County, Allen Best of Bridgeport, CT, Richard Best of Bridgeport, CT, Martha Childs of Jonesboro, Bandele Codrington of NC and step-son: Gregory Codrington; sister: Jesse Kennedy of Newhaven, CT; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-3 before the service.
