Mrs. Beverly Cartledge Swint, age 91, of Jonesboro, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She has joined her beloved husband in God's heavenly home. An excellent seamstress and cook, she loved family get-togethers, Fernandina Beach, Disney World, Boston Terriers, and the Georgia Bulldogs. She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Willis Swint, and her parents, Hoke and Thelma Cartledge. She is survived by her children, Susan Stewart of Hampton, Shirley (Dr. Andy) Bradley of Athens, Sherry Swint of Athens, and Roger (Kathy) Swint of Jonesboro; her sister, Jerry Blalock of Virginia; her sisters-in-law, Martha Sherer of Alabama, and Frances (Vern) Wynn of Alabama; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family and special friend Claudia Bradley. She is also survived by her sweet Boston Terrier, Mollie. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Three Point Bible Church, Jonesboro. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Jonesboro City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Three Point Bible Church at 7576 Southlake Pkwy, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
