Mr. Bill Craddock, Sr., age 86 of Jonesboro passed away August 2, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mary S. Craddock. He is survived by his son: Bill "Spooky" Craddock, Jr. and wife Janice of McDonough, daughters: Debbie Wallace and husband Ron of Clayton, GA and Karen Drescher and husband Kyle of McDonough, brother: Wallace Stephens and wife Christine of Stockbridge, sister: Sara Kate Purmort and husband Dee of Forest Park, grandchildren: Craig (Michelle) Craddock, Diana (Jon) Cowan, Matt (Amie) Craddock, Casey Pierce, Melissa Yates, Aimee (Cason) Hammock, and Jonathan (Lindsey) Yates, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Bill served the Lord all of his life. He married the love of his life, Mary on July 30, 1950 and they were married for 68 years. They raised 3 children with integrity and to love the Lord with all their hearts. He served as Chairman of Deacons at Lake City Baptist for many years. In 1989 he joined Jonesboro First Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. He devoted his life to the Lord and spent his time serving Him in all ways. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 5th, 2018 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Rev. Irvin Pearre officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, August 5th, 2018 at the church.
