Mr. Bill Sweatman, age 78 of Jonesboro passed away February 9, 2021. He was retired from Delta Airlines and Interface, LLC. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Shirley Sweatman, children: Ray William Sweatman, Jr of Dunwoody, Steve M. (Margaret) Sweatman of Stockbridge, Angela D. (Dan) Dorsey of McDonough and Shawn Sweatman of Jonesboro, grandchildren: Tiffany Dorsey, Brittany (Nevin) Cox, Leanne Sweatman, Patrick Tedford, Hayley Sweatman and Drew Sweatman, and 5 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
