Obituary

Mrs. Billie Jean Clayton, age 77 of Chilhowie, VA., formerly of  Fayetteville, Riverdale and Forest Park, GA,  passed away October 18, 2021. She was a loving and generous  Christian wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Mrs. Clayton was a retired Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Mary Bowling, son: Mark Edison Burnette, grandson: Mark Bunch and siblings: Patricia Ann Bowling, Carl Bowling and JoAnn Bowling. She is survived by her husband: James Richard Clayton, daughters: Donna Jean Stanberry of VA., Karen Renee (Lonnie) Dunn of Fayetteville, Anita Christine "Chrissy" (David Ronald "Ronny") Leatherwood of  McDonough and Sherri DeAnn (Perry) Webb of Griffin, daughter-in-law: Kimberly Burnette of  KY, siblings: Mary Frances (Gail) Schmidt of  NC and Anna Maye Williams of  TN, grandchildren: Jeremy (Amber) Burnette, Heather (Corey) Truax, Kristen (Jon) Wilson, James Burnette, Brandon Carter, Kristen (Chris) Medders, Stephanie (Joseph) Cramer, Michael (Ashley) Poole, Mary Ann Webb and granddaughter-in-law: Amber Bunch, great-grandchildren: Addison Burnette, Parker Burnette, Thor Truax, Atlas Truax, Lincoln Wilson, Shawn Carter, Joseph (Shelby) Cramer, Elizabeth Cramer, Isaac Cramer, Aaron Cramer, Lydia Cramer, Arianna Poole, Leiken Bunch, Khaleesi Williams, Leilani Webb and Demi Calkins. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with Dr. Joe Arthur officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
