Mr. Billy Allen McElwaney, age 76, of Jonesboro, passed away, July 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Hufflen. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Allen McElwaney of Gainesville, Donnie Self of Griffin, Marie Knoedler of Chicago; sister, Ruby Simmons of Milledgeville; grandchildren and great grandchildren. No services are planned at this time. Mr. McElwaney was cremated.
