Mr. Billy Ray Smith, age 79, of Jonesboro, passed away January 27, 2020. Mr. Smith was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Diane; children: Trisha Smith Barnett of McDonough, Scott Smith (Di) of Cumming, and Mike Smith (Brandy) of Cumming; sister: Jean Cole of OK; Linda Wages (Don) of AK; grandchildren: Brooke Barnett, Justin Barnett, Maxwell Smith, Alex Smith, Christian Smith, Joshua Smith, and Olivia Smith. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Reynolds officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
