Mrs. Bobbie Swint Massey, age 69, of Hampton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She had over 4 decades of perfect attendance in Sunday School. She retired from the State of Georgia, Department of Education in the Personnel Department. She loved to scrapbook with her friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; Oswell (Deanie) Swint, and brother; Roger Swint. She is survived by her Loving husband of 49 years, Marvin Massey of Hampton, GA, her sweet daughter DeAnna "Dee" Michelle Massey of McDonough, brothers Louis and Sidney Swint of Gibson, GA, and beloved dogs and grand dogs. A Celebration of life service will be held, Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2 PM at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Worship Center. Dr. Charles Q. Carter, Dr. Mel Blackaby, Rev. Larry E. Phillips will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park. The family receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
