Bobby Leon Dykes, age 74, of McDonough, was called home to his Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Born in Macon, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Andrew Dykes and Hazel Snow. He was a life long car enthusiast and a retired pipe fitter from Local 72 in Atlanta. Survivors include daughters LaDonna (Gary) Dykes Mitchell, Amanda (Brian) Renee Jensen, sons Jason Andrew Dykes, Matthew (Kimberly) Stetson King, grandchildren Heather (Matthew) Tatum, Nicholas Mitchell, and Dylan Jensen, great grandson Jackson William Tatum, brothers Andy (Kelly) Dykes, Jack Dykes, cousin Jimmy Snow and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 10:30 AM and the service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 16, 2015, at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, 1974 Walt Stevens Road, Jonesboro.
