Mr. Calvin "Cal" P. McBroom, age 78, of Morrow, passed away, January 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Thomas McBroom. He is survived by his wife, Teena; children, Keith (Michele) McBroom of Lawrenceville, Diane (Tim) Simcox of Morrow, Beth (Eric) Bailey of McDonough; brothers, Aubrey L. McBroom of FL, Charles W. (Kate) McBroom, Jr. of Griffin; grandchildren, Katherine McBroom, Clay McBroom, Callie Christian, Reese Christian and Miranda Simcox. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
