Mr. Carl Ray Jones, Sr., age 78 of Jonesboro passed away November 14, 2015. He is survived by his wife: Frances C. Jones, children: Kaye J. Banks of Locust Grove, Sheila J. Hodges and husband Charles of Jonesboro, Carl Ray Jones, Jr. and wife Selena of Jonesboro, Pamela Beth Jones of Jonesboro and Jeff Jones and wife Julie of Pooler, GA., brothers: Dallas E. Jones of Rose Hill, N.C., and Aubrey Jones of Wilmington, N.C., sisters: Joyce Hardison, Jean Fleszar and Ruby King all of Rose Hill, N.C., 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015, 11 a.m. at the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Rev. Irvin Pearre officiating. The Body will placed in state at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, November 16, 2015, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
