Carolyn M. Clark beloved wife, mother, sister and friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior November 5, 2014, after a brave battle with cancer. Carolyn was born on April 6, 1939, in Sopchoppy, Florida. She lived in Tallahassee, Florida for the first 50 years of her life where she was employed by Barnett Banks of Florida. In 1988, she and her husband, Broward E. Clark, relocated to Jonesboro, Georgia where she continued to work in the banking industry at Bank of America. In 2000, she retired from banking and worked part-time at Chick-fil-A's corporate headquarters for approximately 13 years. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Broward E. Clark; children, Thomas Randall (Jennifer) Bradley of Sopchoppy, FL, Tammi Rene (Julio) Garceran of Cary, NC; siblings, Joseph (Pat) McKenzie of High Springs, FL, Carl (Joyce) McKenzie of Crawfordville, FL, Maxine (Charles) Bussell of Tallahassee, FL, Dianne McKenzie of Orlando, FL, Ellen (Hassan) Daaboul of North Richland Hills, TX; grandchildren, Casey Bradley, Brandon Bradley, Alexander Garceran and Katherine Garceran; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family, friends and faith defined Carolyn's life. She was always smiling, gracious, generous, genuine, caring and encouraging others. Later in her life, she enjoyed walking through the park near her home with Heidi, her dog. Everyone who knew her will her will miss her love and comfort. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Tallahassee Memory Gardens, in Tallahassee, FL.
