Mrs. Carolyn McDonald age 94 of Jonesboro, passed away August 9, 2016. Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Edgemoor Women's Club for many years. She was preceded in death by husband: Laughin D. McDonald and son: David McDonald. She is survived by children: Colin & Donna McDonald of Jonesboro, and Allen & Gwen McDonald of Demorest; grandchildren: Allison McDonald, Eric McDonald, Caron Hope, Chad McDonald, Kirk McDonald, Lee McDonald, Russ Bentley, and Jay Bentley; great grandchildren: Emmy Hope, Slater Hope, Finley McDonald, Rowan McDonald and 4 other great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
