Mr. Cecil Alfonso Dash, age 79, of Jonesboro passed away December 3, 2021. Mr. Dash was a member of Atlanta Southside Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Jonesboro.  He is survived by his wife: Coreen Dash; adopted daughters: Zanel Spencer and Zynia Spencer; sister: Gaynel Dash; nieces and nephew: Marcia Knight, Pedro Dash and Cheryl Holder; 7 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great niece; sisters-in-law: Delores Marshall and Avonda Gaskin; brother-in-law: Michael Gaskin; and their families; and other extended family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Atlanta Southside Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 9940 Dixon Industrial Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236, with Pastor Chris Montrose officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9-10:30 AM before the service at the church.
