Mr. Cecil H. Scott, age 80 of Jonesboro passed away December 5, 2014. Surviving are his wife; Joyce S. Scott, daughter; Lyn Gavel and husband Mike of Byron, GA., son; Shell Scott of Palm Coast, FL., sister; Sylvia "Skinny" Jones and husband Donn of Blue Ridge, grandchildren; Elizabeth Gavel and John Gavel of Byron, GA., Kyle Bryant, Robin Scott, Alexandria Bryant, Bradley Bryant, Sean Scott, and Deirdre Scott all of Palm Coast, FL., nieces; Shannon Geis of Lawrenceville and Brittany Baruch of FL., and numerous cousins. Memorial services will be held at 6 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers make contributions in the name of Cecil Scott to a charity of your choice.
