Charles and Doris were married just shy of 53 years and built a life based on love and respect, a value they instilled in their son and which he has carried over into marriage and fatherhood. An avid lover of motor sports and collector of American muscle cars, Charles was an aficionado on all things automotive and cultivated this passion and hobby into a career as the owner of Shannon Auto Parts in Union City, Ga. Charles loved listening to the Eagles and other classic 1970s rock bands. Doris and Michael will take comfort in fond memories of trips to the beach, the family lakehouse, and auto shows, as well as 50 years of birthdays and joy.
