Mr. Charles W. (Bill) Cooper Jr., age 94 of Jonesboro passed away October 27, 2021. A lifelong outdoorsman, proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and graduate of the University of Georgia,  Mr. Cooper was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and was preceded in death by his parents Charles W. Cooper, Sr. & Manette Edwards Cooper and his sister Suzanne Manley.  He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary "Bud" Cooper and his sons Charles W. Cooper, III of Cedar Grove, NC and Patrick W. Cooper and wife Nella Cooper of Jonesboro. He will be mourned by his grandchildren Eryn Cooper Harris and husband Xavier Monks-Corrigan, Noah Cooper Harris and Charles A. (Charlie) Cooper.  The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital.
