Mr. Charles "Chase" E. Evans, age 70, of Jonesboro, passed away on July 6, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife,  Terri Evans; parents,  James and Bessie Evans; siblings, James Leo Evans, Audrey Hugh Evans and Peggy Ruth Sweeney.  Chase is survived by his siblings, Geneva (Bob) Claiborne, George Eugene Evans, Joyce (Donald) Jones, Lucille (Robert) Smallwood, Texie Faye (Bob) Winkle, Lou Ann (Charles) Jones, Sherry Lynn (Allan) Cannon, Carolyn Sue (Larry) Wilson, Michael Oliver (Sharon) Evans and Benny Mark (Rita) Evans;  Mother-in-law, Norma White, sisters-in-law, Marie Evans, Susan Kim (Theodore) Greene, Diane Green and Jill (John) Durham; brother-in-law, Mark White; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  A Funeral Service will be held at 4PM on Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.  Pastor David Maddox will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 PM prior to the service.  Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc., Jonesboro/Stockbridge 770-210-2700. www.fordstewartfuneralhome.com
