Mr. Charles L. Haines, age 80, of Griffin, passed away on May 16, 2016. He was retired from the Georgia State Patrol. He is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Jennifer A. (Barry) Smith of Jackson, Katherine Minion Haley of Griffin, Lamar Haines of McDonough, Jody (Brian) Hann of Griffin, Ryan Heard of McDonough; siblings, James Edward Haines of TX, Nancy Louise Meintel of PA and 10 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
