Charles "Chuck" W. Jimison, age 79, of Jonesboro, GA passed away on April 15, 2013. He was born on January 4, 1934 in Lewisburg, W VA. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Patti Hager Jimison of Proctorville, Ohio, son; Charles Allen Jimison and daughter-in-law Nancy Munford Jimison of Hopewell, VA, daughter; Kristy Jimison Bein and son-in-law David Alan Bein of Lawrenceville, GA, and devoted grandchildren; Mark Allen Jimison, wife Ashley Pavlock Jimison of Hopewell, VA, James Charles Marshall of Lawrenceville, GA Jessica Lauren Marshall, Albany, GA, Erin Ruth Jimison, Hopewell, VA and great grandson Colin Charles Jimison of Hopewell, VA, brother; Davey Jimison, of Port Trevorton, PA and a host of nieces and nephews. Known for his great sense of humor, story and joke telling. Chuck was a worker among workers retiring from retail management with Cluett Peabody and then worked as a real estate agent, a bus driver and at Lake Spivey Country Club were he was an avid golfer. Chuck was a member of Huntington W. VA Elks Lodge 313 for 56 years. Services will be held Thursday April 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Graveside services to be held in Rome-Proctorville Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Family will receive friends one hour before service. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Piedmont Heart Institute of Atlanta.
