Mr. Charles Kenneth Burns age 82 of Cumming, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away July 2, 2020. Mr. Burns was a member of the Baptist Faith and was a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Leslie Patricia "Pat" Burns; daughter: Joy Dalton (Jeremiah) of Cumming; brothers: Bobby Armstrong (Dale), Jimmy Armstrong (Debbie) all of Covington, TN; sister: Shirley Waddell of Covington, TN; grandchildren: Connor Hawkins and Carson Hawkins. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, July 6, 2020 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Mrs. Glenda Holton officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM before the service at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or donations can be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Mr. Charles Burns.
