Mr. Charles R. McDonald, age 77, of Union City, GA, passed away, January 21, 2013. He was born on June 17, 1935 in Ellsworth Maine. He retired from Delta Air Lines, he was a Mason and served in the Air Force. He is survived by his children; Sharon (David) White of Little River, SC, Kent McDonald of Jonesboro, GA, Scott McDonald of Marietta, GA, stepson; Teddy Pierce, brother; Robert R. McDonald of Lamoine, ME, sisters; Nancy (Gerald) Dumas of Lamoine, ME, Jane (Jay) Fowler of Lamoine, ME, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Wade Hall will officiate. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
