Mr. Charles Kirby Penrod, Jr., age 71 of Locust Grove passed away January 11, 2016. Surviving are his wife: Judy Penrod, daughters: Deborah Kay Creech and husband Stanley Pickens Creech of Stockbridge, and Sondra Jane Hornbuckle and husband Hobson W. Hornbuckle of Roebuck, S.C., and son: John Kirby Penrod and wife Heather Jayne Penrod of Bealeton, VA., sister: Ann K. Tilley and husband Charles of Charleston, W. VA., 9 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Matthews officiating. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
