Charles Thomas Sweatman, Jr., age 76, of Barnesville, passed away on July 8, 2026. He was born on May 19, 1950 in Atlanta to the late; Charles Thomas (Jenny) Sweatman, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his grandson; Lucas Sweatman, and his siblings; Debbie Sweatman and Joy Sweatman. He retired from the City of Atlanta Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Teresa, children; Tommy (April) Sweatman of Barnesville, Trisha Simmons of Stockbridge, sister; Donna (Larry) Folds of Zebulon, grandchildren; C.T. Sweatman, Ashlie Sweatman, Kaylee Simmons, Conner Tanner, Grant Sweatman, Tyler Sweatman, Kaleb Sweatman, Joshua Sweatan, Summer Sweatman, D.J. Sweatman, Tina Sweatman, great grandchild; Isiah Smith and extended family. No services are planned at this time.
