Mr. Charles Edward Toombs, age 50 of Athens passed away November 28, 2019. Mr. Toombs was preceded in death by his mother: Martha Jean Toombs. He is survived by his son: Charles Blake Toombs of Fayetteville, daughter: Blair Nicole Toombs of Senoia, father: Gus Toombs, Jr. of Fayetteville, brother: William Michael Toombs of S.C., and sister: Margaret Elizabeth Toombs Lundy and husband Dr. Doug Lundy of Mableton. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
