Mr. Charles L. Williams, age 83 of Jonesboro passed away September 10, 2021. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie M. and Della Williams and was retired from Ford Motor Company with 42 years of service. He is survived by his wife: Shirley Williams, children: Janice Elizabeth Williams McKinney and fiancé: Tony Sparks of McDonough, Nancy Williams (Joseph) Meares of Hampton, Ronald (Sharon) Williams of Senoia, Randy (Renae) Nelson of Locust Grove, Tracey (Brian) Putnam of Douglasville and Blake (Shay) Nelson of Ola, sister: Betty (Tommy) Walton of VA, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Chuck Scott officiating. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the funeral home.
