Charles Williams, Jr., age 87, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 18, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Verna and Charles Williams, Sr, and his son, Steve Williams
Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years before retiring from the military. After his service, he continued his career as a Civil Servant, specializing in submarine repair. A generous and compassionate man, Charles was dedicated to supporting a variety of charitable causes. He was also a passionate sports fan and found great joy in watching games of all kinds, as well as an avid reader of the newspaper.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Myo Suk Williams; his children, Debbie Williams Anthony, Chuck Williams, Connie Williams, and Younga Williams Pearson; his brother, Jay Williams; his grandchildren, Grace, Brooke, Holly, Krystal, Savannah, Tracy, and Courtney; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel, 2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
