Mr. Charles Xenia Winkler, age 82, son of Xenia and Nellie Winkler, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, March 28. He left behind his loving wife, Helen, whom he was married to for 61 years. He is also survived by his brothers Roger Winkler and Dennis Winkler, his children Tammy Mullins, Sherry Williams, Angela Almader, and Charles D. Winkler, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Charles was born in Claiborne, TN on December 23, 1942. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 30 at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, 2047 Highway 138 S.E., Jonesboro, GA 30237. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at 1 PM CST at Camp Creek Baptist Church at 29416 County Rd. 49, Fruithurst, AL 36262.
