Mr. Chris Helton, age 52, of Molena, passed away June 27, 2022. Mr. Helton served in the US Navy as a corpsman and worked at Grady Hospital as a paramedic. He retired from the Clayton County Police Department where he was a member of the SWAT team. He also worked for Lowes.  He is preceded in death by his father: Roger Kenneth Helton.  He is survived by his loving wife: Terresa Bower; step-children: Renee (David) Johnson of Jonesboro and Ronda Bryson of Zebulon; mother: Judy F. (Dennis) Wright of Ellijay; brothers: Scott Helton of Villa Rica, Kevin (Becky) Helton of Ellijay, and Nick (Leslie) Helton of Holly Springs; sisters: Robin (Eric) Baker of Carrollton and Kasey (Andrea Branco) Helton of College Park; grandchildren: Kandus Johnson and Hunter Bryson; fur-babies: Molly, Daisy, Ginger, Fox, Summer, Luna, and Callie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  A memorial service will be held at 7 PM, Friday, July 1st, 2022 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6-7 PM before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to Life Line Animal Program, www.lifelineanimal.org in memory of Mr. Chris Helton.
