Mr. Chris Sides, beloved husband, father, and son, age 41, of McDonough, passed away, August 15, 2012. He was born in East Point, GA. He worked for United Distributors for 18 years, where he was a strong leader and mentor. He considered his coworkers as family. Throughout his childhood and teenage years he had a passion for competitive BMX racing. His current passion was working out with his wife at Rowe Fitness Solutions and considered the members and staff there as his extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Sides, grandparents, Martin and Nellie Sides, and grandfather, George Fannik. He is survived by his wife, Brooke Sides, children, Taylor Brooke, Amber, Taylor Dean and Collin, mother, Virginia Sides, grandmother, Lila Fannik, brothers-in-law, Bill Bedard, Barry Bedard, Mark Bedard, and Jeff Bedard, mother and father-in-law, Ruth and Bill Bedard, and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 3-6 PM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2012, at 11 AM at the First Christian Church of Jonesboro, with Pastor Wade Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers a fund will be set up for his children. The information for the fund will be given at a later time.
