Christopher Adeniyi (54) departed this life on October 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Chris was born on March 11, 1972, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, to Samuel and Oluwakemi Ogunmefun. Chris is survived by his wife Cynthia (née Buster); their children, Jayme and Christopher Jr.; his mother, Oluwakemi; two sisters, Adelaide and Princess Olawunmi; nephews; and cousins. Chris' father and infant sister preceded him in death, and we find solace in knowing they are now united in eternal peace.

A service to honor Chris's life will be held on November 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church Jonesboro Chapel, located at 142 College Street, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236. Family, friends, and all those whose lives Chris touched are invited to join in celebrating a life well-lived and a man dearly loved.
