Obituary

Christopher Boeckhaus, age 64, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born on January 18, 1961, in New York, NY, Christopher was the son of the late Catherine (Barton) and Ewald Boeckhaus. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Boeckhaus.
Christopher grew up in New York and was a proud graduate of St. Francis Prep High School, Class of 1979. He continued his education at St. Francis College, graduating in 1984. He will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love for family, and the many friendships he nurtured throughout his life. Chris was a reader and an avid sports fan as well. Christopher is survived by his wife, Patricia Boeckhaus; his brother, Gerard Boeckhaus of Jonesboro; his cousins, Dietmar and Elke Bokhaus and Armin and Marita Bokhaus; as well as extended family members and many dear friends.
