Mr. Clinton Hugh Mobley age 89 of Forest Park, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Mr. Mobley was a member of First Christian Church Forest Park. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. He was an avid Garfield collector, self proclaimed 'Emoji King", he also enjoyed playing tennis , working in the yard and singing. He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence David Mobley and Lula Louise Mobley, brothers; Russell and Marion Mobley. He is survived by his wife; Kathy Mobley, children; Suzanne Ayash of Rex, Carol Jones (William) of LaGrange, step-children; Benjamin Smith (Wanda) of McDonough, Paul Warmen of Atlanta, Cassie Nichols (Ryan) of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, sister-in-law; Betty Mobley of Thomson, grandchildren; Tiffany Williams (Sean), Caleb Ayash, Jared Ayash, Travis Dauro, Avery Warmen, Alyssa Warmen, Adaline Nichols, great-grand children; Isabelle Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Jayden Ayash and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 4 pm in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Jonesboro, Ga with Pastor Jason Nix officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm prior to the service.
