Mrs. Louise Burnett, age 86, of Jonesboro passed away January 8, 2014. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church of Ellenwood, and resided at the Palms in Jonesboro. Mrs. Burnett was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Bennett "Lum" Burnett and son, Rodney Burk Burnett. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Chuck Gisler, son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Kay Burnett, sisters, Claudine Coon, Rosa Mae Simmons, Mary Arnold and Gracie LeBlanc, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014, 2 p.m. at Hillandale Memorial Gardens with Mike Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9, 2014 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
