Mrs. Cynthia Joyce hope, age 67, of Jonesboro passed away  January 16, 2021.  Mrs. Hope was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in McDonough and she was retired from Henry County Board of Education as a nutritionist.  She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward King Hope.  She is survived by her daughter: April (Jeffrey) Sims of Jonesboro; brother: Dennis (Carol) McBurnett of Jackson; sisters: Barbara McBurnett of Jonesboro , Linda (Bud) Nash of Jonesboro , and Shirley (Claude) Parlier of Fayetteville ; 2 grandchildren: Ryland Sims and Chloe Sims. She also has several nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Pinecrest Baptist Church in McDonough with Pastor John Anderson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 12 Noon at the church.
